Photo of the Day: Kayaking the Bay

A quick launch from Blind Pass and its off to explore the Lemon Bay.  This sheltered bay on the west coast of Florida is a popular place for boating, fishing and kayaking.  The bay is over 8,000 acres in size in Charlotte and Sarasota County. The aquatic preserve is fed from the Gulf by Stump Pass and through seven fresh water tributaries.  (Photo: May 24, 2015)
