The sun rises over the sawgrass along Alligator Alley on a 2018 trip to Zoo Miami.  Alligator Alley is a toll section of I-75 that passes through the heart of Florida's Everglades.   The east and west section of I-75 has raised overpasses along the route to allow wildlife to pass underneath.  (Photo: November 4, 2018)

Spotting Log: KFLL

Fort Lauderdale, Florida: On a recent soggy trip to Fort Lauderdale, we decided to make a stop by Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport for a little rainy day plane spotting. Runway 10 was active and to keep dry, we grabbed a spot on the west side of the seventh floor of the Hibiscus Garage. Photo of the Day: Taste of New England

Image
Even in South Florida, the taste of New England seafood is never far away.  Kelly's Landing in Fort Lauderdale brings all your New England favorites to the sunshine state.  Lobster rolls, Ipswich clams, clam chowder and Fenway dogs are just some of the favorites on the menu at this popular dining spot. Pictured here is the lobster bites appetizer.  (Photo: February 15, 2020)
