Hamsher Homes at USA Steel Fence

Englewood, Florida: Hamsher Homes overcame an early deficit to defeat USA Steel Fence on Saturday at Englewood Sports Complex.  USA Steel broke the scoreless tie with a three run second inning and single run inning in the third.  But then Hamsher turned on the offense and mounted a comeback to win 8-5. Charlotte Stone Crabs vs Daytona Tortugas

Port Charlotte, Florida: For the second time, fans at Charlotte Sports Park were treated to a great pitching performance at the hands of the Rays Drew Smyly and the Stone Crabs ace Blake Snell. The pair of lefties combined for 8 innings of scoreless ball to lead the Stone Crabs to a 2-0 won over the Daytona Tortugas on Tuesday morning. The Stone Crabs wasted no time taking the lead, scoring in the first inning. Last night’s hero Andrew Velazquez singled to left to lead off the inning. He would later score on an RBI single by Joey Rickard to take the lead 1-0. The Stone Crabs added to their lead in the third inning. Armando Araiza opened up the frame with a double to left. Then Braxton Lee laid down a perfect bunt single, moving Araiza to third. But on the play, the throw sailed past the first baseman to score Araiza to give the Stone Crabs a 2-0 lead. From that point, it became a pitching duel with both clubs exchanging zeroes for the final six frames. But when it was over, it...

Charlotte Stone Crabs vs Fort Myers Miracle

Port Charlotte, Florida: For the second straight home game, the Stone Crabs used a great pitching performance to earn a victory against their neighbor to the south. This time it was Jacob Faria who provided the ammo in the form of six shut-out innings and seven strikeout to lift the Stone Crabs to a 4-0 win in the series finale against the Fort Myers Miracle. The Stone Crabs broke the scoreless tie in the second inning. Maxx Tissenbaum led off the inning with a single to center. He would later score on a ground ball by Braxton Lee to put the Stone Crabs out in front 1-0. The Stone Crabs added to their lead in the bottom of the fifth. Mike Marjama singled up the middle to lead off the inning. He later scored on a line drive by Juniel Querecuto to increase the lead to 2-0.  The shut-out was in threatened in the top the sixth when the Miracle moved a runner to third with one out. But a timely fly ball that doubled off the runner at third ended the inning with the shut-out in ...

Hamsher Homes at Kimberlin Roofing

Englewood, Florida: Hamsher Homes came on strong to defeat Kimberlin Roofing to win their third straight minor league game on Saturday night at Englewood Sports Complex. Hamsher Homes vs Porter Contracting

Englewood, Florida: Hamsher Homes rallied from an early seven run defecit to beat Porter Contracting 13-7 on Wednesday night under the lights at Englewood Sports Complex.
