Photo of the Day: Scenic Highway
The mountains dominate the skyline in North Carolina making the interstate drive a lot more enjoyable. On our recent road trip, we embarked on a 700 plus mile roadtrip which as flat, dull and borning. That is until the last 200 miles or so when the upstate South Carolina hills gave way to the mountains of North Carolina. Pictured here is I-26 near Tryon, North Carolina. (Photo: June 11, 2017)
