Most people are used to seeing the laughing gull along the beach. It is one of the more abundant seagulls found on Florida beaches. But these normally gray and white gulls have a neat little trick. During summer breeding, they transform into a whole new appearance with a black hood and bright red bill. This laughing gull in breeding plumage stands watch over South Lido Beach.
