Photo of the Day: Changing of the Guard
Crews from the Plant City Fire Department check out their apparatus following shift change. Like a rite of passage, following shift change the on-coming crews comb through their trucks cabinet by cabinet making sure that all tools and gear are accounted for and that everything is in working condition. While this task may seem like a mundane assignment, it is critical to ensure it's working in an emergency and you can not run the risk of a device failing when they are called into action and someone's life is on the line.
