Overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains just outside of downtown Asheville is the largest private estate in the country.  It is here where George Vanderbilt built his little mountain escape.  The Biltmore is anything but little featuring 4 acres of floor space, 250 rooms, 33 bedrooms, 43 bathrooms and 65 fireplaces.  (Photo: June 12, 2017)

This home in the Sweet Auburn section of Atlanta was the birth home of the civil rights pioneer Dr Martin Luther King Jr.  Today you can tour the home and follow in the footsteps of Dr King in this historic district which honors the progress that he had in the civil rights movement.  (Photo: December 20, 2014)
