Photo of the Day: Climbing Trash Panda

A loveable raccoon climbs a tree at Myakka State Park in eastern Sarasota County. The raccoon has earned the nickname trash pandas due to their scavenging through trash cans and dumpsters. Found throughout North America, raccoons are easily identifiable by their masked faces and ringed tail.  (Photo: September 7, 2018)
