Photo of the Day: Boardwalk to Paradise

A leisurely stroll down the wooden boardwalk leads you to the paradise of the Gulf of Mexico at Lovers Key State Park. This two mile stretch of pristine beach was saved from development and has been preserved in almost unspoiled fashion. In addition to the beach, Lovers Key also boasts over two miles of mangrove protected kayak trails and five miles of multi-use trails for hiking and biking. The park is currently adding a welcome and discovery center which is slated to open in Spring 2021. (Photo: July 2,2017)
