Photo of the Day: Rothenbach Park Deer

Deer gather to graze on the luscious grass of this former landfill turned into nature preserve in Eastern Sarasota. They have become know as the Rothenbach Park deer, these white tail deer come to the park to feast on the acres of grass that grows on the ninety foot mound. People come to Rothenbach Park to enjoy the nature and serenity that can be found on the miles of paved trail that surrounds the park. (Photo: December 4, 2014)
