Spotting Log: KRSW

I had a training class today in Fort Myers near Southwest Florida International Airport.  Traffic wasn't bad on the interstate, so we got into town a little early so I found a parking spot along the flightline and did a little planespotting while I waited for class to start.  Here is a look at what came by and also a few hidden cargo gems sitting on the ramp off Air Cargo Road.

  1. Wow - great pics! Can't wait till I get back there in October. I hope the viewing area that you told me about by the tower is still open then. Do you know why the white cargo planes are there? I've never seen them before.

    1. It was, that was where these are from. However, the oak trees along the perimeter are starting to grow well, somewhat obstructing the view.

  2. I'm hoping to see the American A319 painted in Allegheny colors. Do you have any pics of that?

    1. I do not have it with the American logo on the side but do have a few from when it was flying as US Air. http://planephotographybydontenphotography.blogspot.com/2014/01/us-air-airbus-a319-n745vj-allegheny.html and http://planephotographybydontenphotography.blogspot.com/2014/01/us-air-airbus-a319-n745vj-allegheny_16.html
