Photo of the Day: True Snow Birds

In Florida, a snow bird is a term given to anyone who lives in Florida half the year to escape the cold winters up north.  But who says only people can be snow birds, take a look at this collection of snow birds on the bank of this central Sarasota lake.  These white pelicans, much like their white haired counterpart snow bird, migrate to Florida to escape the cold.  (Photo: December 16, 2014)
