Photo of the Day: Statue of Liberty

Like a beacon of hope, the Statue of Liberty stands tall in New York Harbor as a sign of freedom and hope found in the United States.  Given to the United States as a gift from France, Lady Liberty has become known as a welcome sign to immigrants to the United States as they immigrated through Ellis Island.  (Photo: August 28, 2005)
