Photo of the Day: Times Square

The bright neon lights of Times Square do more then just light up the block, the bright lights can be seen from the International Space Station some 268 miles above the Earth.  The colorful signage of the Great White Way is a result of a zoning ordinance that requires illuminated signage on each building in Times Square.  (Photo: August 26, 2005)
