Photo of the Day: Drake's Seat

From a hilltop high above St Thomas lies the spectacular views from Drake's Seat. This was the spot where Sir Frances Drake would spy on enemy ships as they passed from the Atlantic Ocean to the Caribbean Sea though the pass that would later be known as Drake's Passage. From this spot you can look down over the blue waters of Magen's Bay or at nearby islands of the US and British Virgin Islands that dot the waters as far as the eye can see.
