Nickelodeon Suites Resort
The 24-acre all suites resort was opened in June 2005. Located off South International Drive, the resort is a short drive to Disney, Universal and Sea World.
The resort features 777 suites ranging from a one bedroom to three bedrooms. The one and three bedroom suites feature a full kitchen while the two bedroom has a kitchenette. The two and three bedroom Kids Suites feature a separate kids room that has Nickelodeon themed rooms featuring SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer. The rooms are located in fourteen buildings that surround the two water parks, the Lagoon and the Oasis.
The highlight of the resort is the water park areas, which there are two of. The main water park is the Lagoon. It features a four story slide structure featuring several water slides, fountains and a 400 gallon dump tank that dumps water and a daily mass sliming on guests waiting below. It also has a zero entry pool, whirlpools and a child splash park. In addition to the water attractions of the Lagoon, you will also find the miniature golf course and the basketball courts here. The Oasis is a smaller water park with a lap pool, a smaller slide structure and a children’s water play area.
Nestled between the Lagoon and Oasis is the entertainment hub of the resort, the Mall. Here you will find the dining, shopping and theaters of the resort. Studio Nick hosts several live action shows each night ranging from a SpongeBob adventure to Slime Time Live, a game show featuring the famous Nickelodeon slime. Across the hall from Studio Nick is the 4-D Experience that has a rotating assortment of 4-D movies. This is also where you can meet the Nickelodeon characters and have your pictures taken with them.
Also located in the Mall are the main dining options. The Food Court features Uno Pizza, The Grill, Subway and Barnie’s Coffee in a mall style food court. Next to the Food Court is the Nick Toons Café where you can enjoy a character breakfast in the morning or a buffet dinner in the evening. Across for Nick Toons Café is the Buffet which host a daily breakfast buffet. Nestled between the Nick Toons Café and the Buffet is the Lounge which provides full bar service for the adults. They also have a Bar & Grill by each pool as well as offer room service.
There is so much to do here at resort; it may be hard to get the family to go to the theme parks. But if you decide to go to the parks, the resort offers complimentary scheduled transportation to and from all of the central Florida theme parks. The buses take guests to the park and return the back to the resort several times a day.
The Nickelodeon Suites Resort has won numerous awards since its opening including best hotel for children and families, best pool and has been featured on the Travel Channel. It is easy to see why over a million families have visited the resort since its opening.
