As your journey down the Sassagoula River, the bayou cottages and river plantations eventually give way to the vibrant building of the French Quarter. Bright colorful paint, detailed ironwork and lively jazz music welcome you to Port Orleans French Quarter at Walt Disney World. 

Opening in 1991, this moderate-class Walt Disney World resort brings the New Orleans French Quarter to Central Florida. The resort rooms are in French Quarter themed hotel buildings nestled around Doubloon Lagoon, the pool featuring a sea-serpent waterslide.
