Photo of the Day: Remember Fallen Brothers

On the first Sunday of October, we pause to remember the brave men and woman of the fire service who lost their lives in the line of duty.  Designated by Congress in 1990, National Fallen Firefighter Memorial Day is a way to remember our fallen brothers and sisters who have paid the ultimate price while saving lives and protecting property. This past year 103 firefighter answered their final call and will forever be memorialized at the National Memorial on the grounds of the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, Maryland.  (Photo: October 22, 2017)
