The historic courthouse sits in the center of town, forming the town square. Old towns were built around the courthouse, like the center of the the spokes on a wheel. This courthouse is the Hernando County Courthouse located in Brooksville, Florida. It was built in 1913 by William Augustus Edwards and is considered the crown of Brooksville.
