Photo of the Day: Aviation's Birthday

116 years ago today, two brothers from Ohio made history on a barrier island in North Carolina. On December 17, 1903, the Wright Brothers made history with the first powered flight. While the initial flight lasted just twelve seconds, it paved the way for the aviation industry. Today the aircraft have come a long way from the original Wright Flyer, but no matter how technological advanced today's aircraft get, they still require those same basic principles discovered by the Wright Brothers over a hundred years ago to be successful.
