Years ago, the theater was one of the biggest venues on the entertainment stage. From movies to concerts and musicals, it was the place to be in town. Because of the popularity of the theater, historic theaters tended to rival sporting venues with multiple tiers of seating. Here is one of the grand entryways of the Tampa Theatre in downtown Tampa.
