Bright lights, Big city. The lights of New York's Time Square light up the Big Apple. The bustling commercial district also known as "The Crossroads of the World" has an ordinance that requires building to provide illuminated signs. In addition to the millions of visitors throughout the year, over one million people flock to Times Square on New Years Eve to watch the famous crystal ball drop for the top of One Times Square.
