Royal Pacific Resort: Dining
Orlando, Florida: The Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando is one of three Loews Resorts on the property. Themed to look like a hotel in the south seas, the resort features some of the properties best dining options. The menus are tailored to match the cuisine of the south Pacific while still accommodating the taste buds of all who visit. The cornerstone of the resort’s restaurants is Emeril’s Tchoup Chop. Inspired by the cuisine of the master chef Emeril Lagasse, the menu features meals of Asian and Polynesian cuisine topped with the flair that only Emeril can provide. Some of the items on the menu include:
• Furikake Crusted Salmon
• Thai Basil Mahi Mahi
• Pepper Grilled Yellowfin Tuna
• Mongolian Barbeque Pork
• Roasted Duck Breast
• Tofu
• Sushi
The resort also features the Islands Dining Room. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, the Island Dining Room mixes Pacific Rim cuisine with traditional American dishes. For breakfast, the dining room features a menu of all the breakfast favorites. For those that have a tough time choosing or just want to try them all, they offer a breakfast buffet that features all the items on the menu. The lunch and dinner menus have a good mix of food consisting of:

• Chicken Wings
• Chicken Noodle Soup
• Burgers
• Cuban Sandwich
• Pasta Pomodoro
• Fish and Chips
• Sesame Chicken
• Vegetable Lo Mein
• Grilled Salmon
Jake’s American Bar is a casual restaurant that serves some of the American classics. In addition to the great menu, Jake’s also features a fully stocked bar and stocked menu of mixed drinks that goes along with them. Jake’s is a great place to sit back and enjoy the atmosphere or catch the big game on one of the TV’s. The menu of Jake’s favorites includes:
• Four Cheese Baked Macaroni and Cheese
• Fish and Chips
• Seared Half of Chicken
• Smoked Salmon
• Jake’s Steak
• Slow Roasted BBQ Ribs
• The Bi-Plane (roasted chicken and BBQ ribs)
In the lobby of the resort lies the Orchid Court Lounge. The lounge doubles as a place to catch a continental breakfast in the morning or an exotic drink in the evening. The lounge overlooks the Lagoon, allowing visitor’s to watch the action at the pool while enjoying their drinks in the comforts of the lounge. Adjacent to the lounge is the Orchid Court Sushi Bar which features sushi and sashimi along with Asian desserts.
For those out at the pool, there is a spot to take care of the hunger or thirst caused by playing in the Florida sun. Bula Bar and Grille is a poolside eatery feature a menu of cocktails and light food. The menu consists of salads and sandwiches to help curb the hunger.
If eating a meal in any of the fine restaurants is not for you, the resort also features a great room service menu. The menu features a sampling of the meals from each of the restaurants and delivers them right to your guest room. A great option for those looking to relax in the privacy of their room.
