Hard Rock Hotel

Orlando, Florida: From the moment you walk through the front door, the rock star experience begins at the Hard Rock Hotel. From the musician memorabilia on the walls to the comfortable rooms, it doesn’t take long until you feel like part of the band.

Opened in 2001, the 650 room resort contains 29 suites. All rooms are designed with entertainment in mind featuring HD TV’s, CD players and MP3 docking stations.

The amenities of the resort are world class. It features a 12,000 square foot pool area with a beach, water slide, Jacuzzi’s and a play area for the kids. They even have an underwater sound system that plays the music underwater. In addition to music, they also host dive in movies where you can watch a film under the stars or in the water. The resort also has the Rock Shop where you can purchase your favorite rock star clothes or Hard Rock logo gear. Finally there is a fitness center and children’s center to round out the vacation.

Hard Rock Hotel also features several restaurants and bars to satisfy any appetite or thirst. The dining choice include:

• Beach Club: poolside bar and grill.
• Emack & Bolio’s: Boston inspires ice cream parlor.
• The Kitchen: family style restaurant featuring comfort food.
• The Palm Restaurant: world renown steak and seafood restaurant.
• Velvet Bar: intimate lounge where guest can sit back and have a drink, on select nights, the Velvet Session is a rock n roll cocktail party featuring famous musicians.

Like all other Universal Orlando resorts, Hard Rock Hotel guests receive front of the line ride privileges with Universal Express and priority seating at select restaurants. They also provide water taxi service to the parks however it lies within a short walking distance to the gates of Universal Studios making the walk quicker than the boat.

With so many amenities, its easy to see why the Hard Rock Hotel is one of the top rated hotels in the nation. It has been a AAA four diamond hotel since 2002 and has ranked on the Conde Nast Golden List for best hotel.
