Signs of Summer
A swallow-tail kite flies over the skies of Southwest Florida, a sign that summer is almost here. These raptors are commonly found in South America but spend the summers in Florida for breeding.
The swallow-tail kite is easily identified by its forked tail. The tail and wing structures allow the kite to glide effortless for long distances.
