Photo of the Day: Going Fishing

A hammerhead goes fishing at the Georgia Aquarium. Hammerheads are aggressive hunters, ambushing schools of fish for their meals. Their unique shaped head spreads out their visual field, helping them locate prey better. They also are equipped with sensory organs called Ampullae of Lorenzini which help them sense electric fields produced by their prey making them one of the best hunters in the sea.
