Photo of the Day: White, Wide, What's the Difference

Lost in translation, that is how the White Rhino got its name. The Africans had initially named the Rhino "weit" meaning wide in reference to their wide mouth. But in the English translation, they took "weit" to mean white and that became their official name. (Photo September 14, 2019)
