Photo of the Day: Great Horned Owl

A great horned owl sits on a perch in a display the Charlotte Harbor Conservation Festival on the grounds of the Charlotte Sports Park.  The Great Horned Owl is the largest owl found in Florida.  It can not move its eyes so they turn their entire head in order to change their line of sight.  (Photo: November 21, 2009)
