Photo of the Day: Wilderness Boardwalk

The elevated boardwalk traverses the Sawgrass Marsh and swamps at the Crowley Museum and Nature Center in eastern Sarasota County.  A hike on the boardwalk takes visitors through distinct ecosystems and allows hikers to take in the fauna and wildlife without getting their feet wet in the mud of the swamp.  (Photo: January 10, 2009)
