The SNJ-5 Texan performs at the Florida International Air Show at Punta Gorda Airport. The Texan was an advanced trainer used by the US Army Air Force and US Navy. Developed in the World War II era, the Texan remained in use until the 1970’s. (Photo: March 30, 2014)
