The designers of the park do a great job of getting the most out of the 200 acres that the park sits on. They manage to combine ten thrilling amusement rides within the world class animal habitats that Sea World has been known for.

The most popular attraction of the park is the parks icon, Shamu. Daily shows take place in the massive Shamu Stadium. Here guests can watch the current show, Believe. During the evening, the show is replaced with Shamu Rocks, a mix of Shamu acrobatics with Rock and Roll music and laser effects. Despite the name Shamu, there are actually seven Orca whales that bear the Shamu nickname during the course of their lives at Sea World.

In addition to the Shamu shows, Sea World also features a great dolphin show called Blue Horizons which features human acrobats combined with dolphins for a high flying show. They also have a hilarious show feature Clyde and Seamore, a pair of sea lions who entertain the audience with comedy in Clyde and Seamore take Pirate Island.

On the thrills side, Sea World features a trio of major thrill attractions. Journey to Atlantis is a boat ride to the mystical world of Atlantis that has a wild ending. Next door lies Kraken, a floorless roller coaster that follows the life of the mythical seas monster. The newest addition to the park is Manta, a flying coaster that takes its riders on a journey that is much like that of a giant manta ray searching for food. These are just a sampling of the rides that Sea World has to offer its guests.

In addition to shows and rides, Sea World also features numerous animal attractions. From the sea lions of Pacific Point to the wide selection of sharks in the Shark Encounter, there are plenty of animals for visitors to enjoy. Each attraction is themed to closely resemble their native environment as well as provide an information pertaining to the conservation of the species.

Outside of the public park areas, Sea World Orlando also operates a marine life hospital facility. The world renown Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation Team is on-call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to answer the call for distressed marine life. The most popular of the programs are the manatee and sea turtle programs.

Sea World Orlando has been the leader in marine life education and conservation for over thirty years. As the times changed, the park has transformed into a major theme park attraction helping them to continue to draw a large crowd while still teaching the need for conservation. Its this ability to stay fresh and exciting that will help keep Sea World Orlando a popular attraction for years to come.
